Plan a visit to Greentree!

We know that visiting a new church can be hard. Not knowing what to expect can often keep people from walking through the doors. We don't want that to be case at Greentree! We hope that you will feel welcomed from the moment you walk in and will want to come back soon. Check out the information below as you plan your upcoming visit to Greentree.

Where should we park and enter?

There is no assigned parking and you are welcome to park anywhere you can find space! The easiest place to park and enter into the building is in the lot located on 10th street. After parking, you can enter our lobby at the main entrance under the awning.

Is your facility easily accessible for those with physical limitations?

Yes! If you come into the building through the entrance on 10th street, you will enter directly into our lobby which flows into our worship center, with no stairs in your way. There is also a large family bathroom in the lobby. Additionally, we have an elevator located on the main floor to assist anyone who wants to attend a class on the second floor.

What should I wear?

Come as you are! On any given Sunday morning, you will see shorts and a t-shirt, pants and a button-up, dresses, and full suits. There is no unspoken dress code and we want you to feel comfortable during your visit.

What about my kids?

Bring them! We have a lot of great programming on Sunday mornings for kids of all ages. Our background checked volunteers are ready to sing, dance, play games, and teach your kids!

Treehouse Kids meet for our birth-5th graders during the 9:15am and 10:45am services every Sunday. If you have a child who is a newborn-5 years old, you can check them in at the pre-k check-in desk located in the lobby. If you have a child in K-5th grade, head upstairs and check them in at our elementary check-in desk.

Our 6th-12th grade students meet at the FUEL building, located across the street from our main building, at 9:15am on Sunday mornings and then usually attend the 10:45am service together.

What does a typical Sunday morning service look like?

Each service begins with worship music. You are invited to sing along if you know the songs or to just listen if not. No pressure! Following the music portion of our service, we take communion as a community every Sunday. The preaching minister for the weekend will then communicate to the congregation some concerns to be praying about and then he will share a message with us. This message usually lasts anywhere from 20-28 minutes. Finally, we usually sing one more song together and then our preaching minister will offer a closing prayer and then it's off to lunch!

Should I participate in taking communion and giving an offering?

Every Sunday that we gather, our church practices communion and we also offer our congregation the opportunity to give a financial gift. While you are certainly welcome to participate, we also want you know that as our guest, we do not want you to feel obligated to participate in these two aspects of the service. Do what makes you feel most comfortable!

How can I get connected beyond Sunday morning?

We hope that this is the question you are asking yourself after your first visit. If so, we have a steps we would love for you to take! First, head to the coffee bar in the lobby and introduce yourself to one of our staff members or volunteers there and let them know that it is your first time. We have a few free gifts we would like to give to you! You can also ask them any questions you might have about ministries or events at Greentree.

We would also love to hear from you! Download the Greentree Christian Church app and click on "WORSHIP GUIDE" and then fill out the connection card. This helps us connect with you more directly. You can also check any boxes for ministries you might be interested in.
