I moved to GCC in 2000 straight out of Bible college. I worked as youth minister for the first 11 years that I was here, recently transitioning into connections ministry. We have been so blessed to be a part of this church family for all these years.
I am originally from central Illinois and despite everyone's best efforts to convert me to be an MU Tigers fan...I still cheer for the U of I Fighting Illini! I have a beautiful wife, Jana, of 20 years. We have 3 amazing children...Emma, Gaby, and Dex. I love music (although you don't want me to actually play an instrument or sing), sports baseball, basketball, soccer and disc golf), reading, coffee, photography, and spending time with my family.
I was born and raised in Peoria, IL and came to Rolla with my wife Dorothy and my 1-year old son Danny in 2004. Since then we have added Luke (born in 2004) and Joey (born in 2007). Our whole family loves being a part of the community here in Rolla and at Greentree Christian Church. I have been very blessed to be a part of this church family and to be a part of the work God has done here. In addition to teaching and preaching, I really enjoy playing basketball with the guys here in town and playing all sorts of games with my 3 sons.
I have been a member of this church for my entire life. I was blessed to grow up in this congregation and be the 3rd generation of Harris' to be a part of this church. It is such a joy to be able to work in my home church! I started working at Greentree in 2008 as a youth intern, while I was a student at St. Louis Christian College. In 2012, I was blessed with the opportunity to be the youth minister. I love spending time with Jr. High and High School students, and teaching them about God and how to have a deeper relationship with him.
I have been blessed with an amazing wife. Shandi and I have been married since 2009. She is a campus minister with CCF at MST. We are blessed to have two little girls, Darci and Harli. My favorite things to do are to spend time with my family and to hang out with our students. I love sports, and I am a huge STL Cardinals fan. I love to collect baseball memorabilia and autographs.
I joined the Greentree family in 2001 and I've been serving in children's and youth ministries for 10+ years. I've watched this church change locations, shift in size, and meet the needs of friends far and near. I've personally had the opportunity to work with big cities, developing nations, and other states but I ended up right back here doing what I love most. My motto is, "enjoy the little things," so any day with friends, food, and fun is a winner to me.
I was born and raised in the St. Louis area. I attended Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO and graduated in the Spring of 2018 with a Bachelors in Worship Ministry. Ozark's worship program is also where I met my gorgeous wife, Sharon. We got married in December of 2016 and are loving our life together. We enjoy traveling, drinking coffee, making music, reading, and watching Netflix.
I joined the Greentree staff in August of 2017. We have been so blessed by how welcoming and inclusive this community is. My hope as a worship pastor is that when we worship together each week, we will all walk away with a clearer vision of who God is and how greatly he desires to be close to us.
I have been a member of the Greentree staff since July 2009. I have been married to my wife Kelly for 18 years and we have 3 sons: Nat, Sam, and Zac. My wife and I served in Papua New Guinea for 5 years with Pioneer Bible Translators. I like music, computer games, and loves sports of any kind, especially the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
My journey with Greentree started as an intern in the summer of 2017. What was purposed to be a one time commitment turned into a full-time position as the Associate Youth Minister, after I graduated from Ozark Christian College in may of 2018. At OCC, I received a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry, emphasizing in Student Ministry in an effort to support my passion of raising up the next generation of church leaders. I have followed Christ ever since I accepted him during a week of CIY the summer after my freshman year of high school. Since then, God has led me from Tulsa, to 5 years of Bible College, and finally to Greentree where I want to continue to faithfully and sacrificially serving the Lord and the community of Rolla.
In 1998, our young family transitioned to Rolla, MO. We connected with the people at Greentree from the moment we moved in. Our minister in KC, our realtor in Rolla, and our new neighbors all invited us to Greentree. We never left. In 2004, I started working full-time for Greentree as the Director of Children’s Ministries. Sunday mornings, VBS, Upward – oh, my! In 2015, after 11 + years with the children’s ministry, a unique need arose. God showed me a new way to serve. I love it. I still get to teach kids on Sundays and work with the numbers Monday-Friday. For me, it’s the best scenario.
Jeremy & I married in 1992. He is a school counselor at Rolla Junior High. We have two children. Our daughter Cassie is a math teacher and lives in Rolla with her husband, Lane. Our son Jacob is a student at Missouri State University studying music. We love books, movies, music, laughter, friends, our dog family and spending time together.
I started working at Greentree in 2010 and have grown to really love my job. I have the opportunity to capture memories and moments through video and it really has become one of my biggest passions in life. Seeing the reactions people have to the videos we produce here really make this job incredible. It is fun to be a part of a growing/thriving church family.
I am so blessed to have my incredible wife of 16 years, Becca. We have 4 great kids (Hayden, Keaton, Khushi, and London) who are a joy to watch grow up. My favorite things to do (besides spending time with my family) include disc golf, tennis, watch any sport, watch anything sci-fi or superhero, volleyball, and shooting video of all kinds.
I’m a born and raised South Dakota girl and married my high school sweetheart. In addition to our 11 years here in Rolla, Jon and I have lived in many locations from coast to coast. We have adult twin boys (Hayden and Logan) and a teenage daughter (Marin). We moved to Rolla in 2008 and have been attending Greentree Christian Church since. We were introduced to GCC right away, thanks to the Strong Backs moving ministry. Fifteen people showed up to unload our moving vans and invited us to church and our boys to join youth group. In 2013, a friend and I started a teen girls Bible study. This eventually led me to get involved in FUEL where I have been an adult sponsor for the past few years.
After almost 30 years as a PHD (professional hair stylist), I hung up my shears in 2017. I was blessed to be able to work from home for most of my career and even more blessed to meet so many wonderful people. As much as it was my job, it was even more a ministry both to and from my dear clients.
Jon and I love riding our Harley Davidson and we currently serve with the Black Sheep Harley Davidson’s for Christ motorcycle ministry. We spend as much time as possible riding through the Ozark Mountains (and beyond) with our motorcycle friends. I also love to read, study the Word and spend time with my family.
